Life as a independent artist in Brisbane got you down?
Yep, Lia Stark too.
So, let’s do something about it.
To navigate this seemingly unending artistic crisis, Lia has devised Einstein on the Bitch; a night about bringing together our community, stroking her ego and most importantly, finding a reason to get out of bed.
This is one woman’s attempt to guide herself through living in Brisbane, making meaningful art and if there’s still time in the day, not going insane. Always too aware of her privilege, Lia is determined to figure out if her hero, Albert Einstein, had it right when he spoke of the rarity of happiness or if she’s just going through the post-university, pre -“successful artist” phase.
Full of female neurosis, this not-quite-theatre, not-quite-group-therapy show will be a night to turn off Netflix for.
Following the success of Wightman and Stark’s Love Letters to Fuckbois, Stark’s Einstein on the Bitch is a one-night only gathering of minds who are determined to prove that being down in Brisbane isn’t the end of the making art, but just the beginning.
