Wollongong Art Gallery is a large regional cultural centre that presents a diverse program of exhibitions, education and public programs. presentations range from contemporary art and performance, Indigenous and CaLD projects, Youth and Access programs. Entry and many programs are free.
The Gallery is a 1950’s era civic building with 4 levels and some quirky and interesting spaces. Two such spaces are a large open veranda space on level 4 with an adjoining room and a very large multifunction space that was originally a council chamber.
