Poetry is Dead presented by Brisbane Powerhouse, Josh Donellan and Mike Willmett

“We had our very first (unofficial) gig at the afterparty of an anywhere show in the strange underbelly of an ancient house in Paddington. There was a lot of tequila and hugs. We’d love to see some of the gorgeous anywhere attendees at this next show, we promise it’ll be all the best kinds of weird and wonderful.” Josh Donellan. BOOK NOW

BPH_2015_Ma_Ma_Ma_Mad_1-1178x663

Ma Ma Ma Mad presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Wax Lyrical Productions

“When I first developed this show for Anywhere Theatre Festival (2012), I thought I was going to share my mother’s story- her wild, effervescent but untimely tragic tale that has been lingering in my being for years. However, over the course of growing and nurturing this piece, I discovered that this show has so much more to do with how I, as a teenager and now as a woman, cope with the understanding that my mother has taken her own life. This is an incredibly personal story of (I believe) such a crucial topic and it would not have been possible without Anywhere Theatre Festival’s initial support. I hope that you can join me from the 3-6 December at the Brisbane Powerhouse for the wild and wonderful Singaporean journey that is MA MA MA MAD. BOOK NOW

Who is Dani Cabs presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Daniel Cabrera

“After only three intimate nights with my fellow Brisbanites I felt a sense of longing, therefore Who is Dani Cabs? is back. Braver, louder, softer, and cheekier than ever, performing at Wonderland 2015 from the 3rd – 6th of December – with special guest Golden Sound delivering live music to ensure Dani’s hips have that special kind of whip.” BOOK NOW
